Tasting note
Clos du Roy is widely considered to be the best vineyard site in Marsannay and tipped to receive Premier Cru status in the future. This is a fresh a delicate expression of Pinot Noir but still has some fine tannins supporting the wine.
The fruit is all fresh strawberry, cherry and raspberry and the finish is long and precise. One of Sylvain's very best wines and shows great ageing potential.
