The production of gourmet oils is a long-standing tradition in France. Originally, each village had a mill where the oil was roasted and extracted from the nuts collected by the local farmers. This delicious oil was used to make hearty country dishes and can be found in the best restaurants in Paris. Today, however, La Tourangelle is one of only a handful of traditional oil mills.
